What's a Wiki?
A wiki is a website that allows visitors to add, remove, and edit content. A collaborative technology for organizing information on Web sites, the first wiki WikiWikiWeb was developed by Ward Cunningham in the mid-1990s.
Wikis allow for linking among any number of pages. This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for mass collaborative authoring. Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia, is probably the best known wiki.
Wikis that are editable by the general public (such as Wikipedia) have been criticized for their reliability, simply because certain individuals may maliciously introduce disinformation.
Proponents rely on their community of users who can catch malicious content and correct it. Wikis in general make a basic assumption of the goodness of people.

Adding new stores to the latex clothing stores list
If you want to add details of a new store to the database, please carry out the following steps:
- Edit the "List of latex clothing stores" page and insert a new store entry; stores are listed by countries and cities alphabetically so please insert the store in the correct position. The store should be listed using the following syntax; *[[name]].
- If the store uses a common word such as latex there might already be an article of that name on the system in which case prefix the store name with any kind of farther information like the city or the street.
- Preview the latex store list article and check that the link for your new store appears in red, if it appears in blue or purple then an article of that name already exists and you must choose a new name for you article. Save the changes when you have finished.
- Click on the store templatelink and copy the text as shown.
- Go back to the list of latex clothing store page and click on the link for the club you have just inserted.
- You will now be in an editing screen, paste the text you have copied and then replace the dummy text with details of your store.
- In order to put picture you need to upload the files by using the link in the toolbox on the left side of the screen. use unique file name (not something like "logo.jpg")
- Preview, and when correct click on save.
- In order to keep the store map updated with all the stores in the list please send e-mail to [1] and write down the store you just added.
- all done!
Following these steps will help keep the information we hold on stores consistent and make it easier for people to use.
