A uniform fetish is a fetish in which a person enjoys dressing in a uniform, or derives sexual pleasure from viewing other people dressed in this manner. While this is classified as a fetish, it does not require any actual sexual contact per se. Among the more common uniforms used are those of a schoolgirl, nurse, cheerleader, French maid, police officer, sailor, nun and firefighter. The uniforms may be realistic, or made sexier by for example a very short skirt, stockings, fishnet tights or high heels.

Sometimes, a uniform may be used appropriate to what is being done. For example, someone may wear a nurse's uniform to administer an enema, or a police uniform to handcuff and cage someone. This may add a sense of authenticity to the game play.

Uniform is also Leather, in that men into it wear the usual jacket, chaps, boots, cap and open shirt, mixing motorcycle cop with marine. Leather/Uniform is one of the terms found in gay guides.
