Latex bondage may have a variety of meanings.
It may refer to being tied up using ropes, straps or belts made of rubber. As these are all somewhat stretchy, they are unsuited for some forms of tying, particularly the wrists, as it may be possible for the captive to escape by twisting and stretching the bonds. They may be more suitable for tying the ankles and knees. Straitjackets and armbinders may be made of rubber.
It may refer to the use of rubber accessories, such as ball gags or (especially if breathplay is involved) hoods. Items such as butt plugs, associated with but not actually part of the bondage, may also come under this heading.
It may refer to being tied up while wearing latex clothing, especially catsuits.
