Unleashed
Unleashed is a fetish dance event created in 2011 by High Gloss Productions, an Amsterdam-based production agency that specializes in creative event productions. The Unleashed parties provide an adult’s playground for fetishists and sensual clubbers, fusing gay and straight with a playful and attractive crowd who is looking for fetish fantasies in complete freedom and a festive spirit.
The parties enforce a fetish and sensual dress code, and upholds a behavioral etiquette to support a comfortable and liberal atmosphere. By mixing people from various backgrounds, the Unleashed events are accessible and welcoming to a variety of visitors. With a strong focus on high-energy club music and the dance floor, each edition features leading DJs from the fetish scene and the international club scenes, as well as stage acts, performance art, fashion shows and “play areas”. The organizing team mixes people from various backgrounds in the fetish, music, fashion and dance scenes, giving Unleashed its unique and extravagant character.
History
Founded in Amsterdam in 2011, productions were held in the city’s leading clubs and venues. Since its inception, Unleashed has been attracting increasing numbers of fetish lovers and partygoers.
Due to this increasing popularity, current Unleashed Amsterdam events are held in two large venues; Panama and The BOX. In 2015, Unleashed broadened its horizon and spread to other leading clubs in known party capitals inside and outside of Europe: currently these are in Berlin, Tel Aviv, Stockholm, Madrid and Ibiza.
Artists & Fashion
Unleashed parties are known for outrageous stage shows and party design. There is a strong emphasis on innovative fashion that is influenced by the fetish culture, creating a party scene that is also accessible and welcoming to visitors that are not fully submerged into the fetish scene.
A selection of artists have performed at Unleashed events: The Fire Girls (starring Yusura Circus, Sasha Flexy and Naomi French) Marco Punk, Sister Sinister, Elegy Ellem, Brigitte More, Aurora Galore, Vanadio, Mistress Absolute, Rachael Vee, Lara Aimée, HayDee Sparks, Nina de Lianin and many more.
Furthermore, many fashion designers have visited the stage, such as Tatjana Warnecke, Cyberesque, Lovely Latex, Torture Garden Clothing, Lady Oops Couture, Coco Late Latex, Fantastic Rubber, Savage-Wear, and others.
Media
Attention in the media for fetish and fetish events has increased in recent years. Aside from digital features (e.g. a full feature on Unleashed's 5th anniversary, Amsterdam, May 21st 2016, by The Fetishistas) and print media (e.g. a party review in the American V Magazine 2015 and an article about Unleashed Amsterdam, New Year Ball 2015 in the German Marquis Magazine), Unleashed has also been featured on Dutch national TV, in an episode of the popular television show Spuiten en Slikken, in March 2014. This show, which translates to English as "Shoot and Swallow", invites weekly guests for discussions and new experiences regarding sexuality and drugs. In this episode, a guest speaker is invited to an Unleashed event to receive a wardrobe makeover, experience a fetish event first-hand, as well as interview several of the other guests.
