Latex skirt

A skirt is a tube- or cone-shaped garment that hangs from the waist and covers all or part of the legs.

In most western cultures, skirts are considered women's clothing, but there are exceptions. For example, in Scotland, the kilt must only be worn by men.

Fashion designers have repeatedly tried to establish male skirts in mainstream fashion, but so far have failed to gain wider public exceptance.

In the fetish scene, skirts are worn by men (especially transvestites and cross-dressers, who regard it as a particularly feminine garment) as well as women and special kinds of skirts, such as hobble skirts, are popular.
